ST. LOUIS – The public is being asked to pay their respects to local Marines who will be returning home for the final time on Friday as part of a procession that continues from St. Louis Lambert International Airport to St. Charles.

Sergeant Colin Arslanbus died on April 18 in an accident during high-altitude training near Camp Lejeune.

Ms. Arslanbus was a 2019 graduate of Fort Zumwalt West High School.

The body is expected to arrive at the airport by 12:30 p.m., with a police escort, heading west on Interstate 70 to Bow Funeral Home on Cave Springs Road. Located in St. Charles.

The public can follow the line on the highway through Missouri Department of Transportation cameras.

Those who want to do it directly should be careful.

“Obviously we want people to pay their respects, but we want them to do it safely,” said St. Charles County Police Chief Kurt Frith. “If children try to run off the roadway, make sure there is enough space on the shoulder and keep an eye on them. Do not block oncoming traffic.”

Arslambus is survived by his wife, Gracie; his mother, Nicole; his father, Evren; his brother Cole; his sister, Caroline and other family members. The funeral and burial will be private.
